Great Food & Good Vibes – The slogan says it all for Thai Grille, located
in Surf City , NC. Authentic Thai cuisine w/ a twist of Americana & Asian
fusion. This restaurant truly has great food & a calming atmosphere in
the spirit of Asian culture. Many of the recipes are passed down to
owners Ray & Alicia Gardner from Alicia’s mother affectionately referred
to as “Mama Lek”.
Mama Lek was born & raised in Lobpuri , Thailand
and is daughter of a true Thai buddist monk.

have been passed down for generations and are truly awesome !
Owners Ray & Alicia have teamed w/ Asian trained chef Travis Obertach
to create a menu that has something for everyone. Only the freshest
seafood, meats, produce, herbs & spices are used.
The daily lunch &
dinner specials are fresh, imaginative & truly delicious. And everything is priced just right & affordable for every budget with very large portions – so come hungry !

TheThai dishes include: Pad Thai, Satay w/ Thai peanut sauce, & Thai curries.
The yellow curry is a house favorite. Thai Grille also offers Asian style chicken wings which come in 4 distinct flavors: sweet chili sauce wings, Thai hot wings, teriyaki sesame wings, & soy garlic butter sauce wings. Another tempting palate pleaser are the crab & cream cheese wontons.
Thai Grille is also known for it’s made fresh daily spring rolls w/ sweet chili dipping sauce.
Other Thai cuisine favorites include Beef & Basil, Pork & Ginger, and Mama Lek’s own Crab & Shrimp Stir-Fry. All dishes use the freshest herbs, produce, meats & seafood. Fresh Thai basil, Thai peppers, and fresh cilantro are all examples of the fresh herbs & spices used.
